It’s been a while since we looked into the Perpetual Star Trek Online folder, and in so doing I came across an odd little ship called the Urubian scrap vessel. The race is made up of Scavengers and here they have created a space craft from relics of the Borg and Dominion wars. There is a little bit of everything here and be sure to get your tetanus shot before you join on as one of the crew.

What’s not to like? It’s nice to see all of the parts from different folks working together!
Especially like that NASA technology still being put to good use. For a salvage parts vessel, it’s quite an impressive looking ship. However, I’m not sure it looks like it flies straight, maybe veers a little left…HA!
Of course many of us will appreciate the recycling. Save the quadrant and all!

Reminds me of that ship from Elite Force (in concept atleast). Atleast the fans can’t complain about their favorite race not been covered here!

I am surprise the Federation fleet did not look like that towards the end of the Dominion War.
I love the idea, and it something that I have had in mind for time for a project I currently working on at SFM. See you doing this for Trek, just make me wanted to do it more for the SFM project. so thanks you for that.
Hopefully the Urubians are nicer than the “Reavers”.
The design might also work for the Pakleds.
When “Star Trek Online” was sold to Cryptic in the bankruptcy of Perpetual, was Cryptic not able to use the starship and other designs created by Ryan Dening, you, and others for the game? Yesterday, Cryptic revealed the “Excalibur” Class and I was surprised that it wasn’t the starship design named “Excalibur” shown in the preview.

Man, that’s a very cool design.
Sometime ago we had a very similar idea for an Orion Pirate ship for Excalibur.
It ended up dump in favour of canon designs, but the overall idea is still good.
