Here’s a pic of the Fox Plaza, AKA the Nakatomi Plaza from “Die Hard”. Just had to go shoot some stills for work of the buildings to the north of this one and snagged a shot as I’m driving away…. Enjoy Desert D

Still eyecatching. The architect’s sorely underappreciated — William Pereira. Created San Francisco’s Transamerica Pyramid, too. And that upside-down ziggurat in San Diego, Geisel (“Dr. Seuss”) Library.
I can imagine this inspiring the form of a new Star Trek design — an engine nozzle, maybe?
A great design and in most people´s memories it´ll probably always be the “Nakatomi Plaza”.
Are you stopped in the middle of the street? Don’t get yourself killed on my account!!
Can’t you just imagine dangling off the top of that by a fire hose while the roof erupts in flames?
“Come out to the coast, we’ll get together..have a few laughs.”
Is it Christmas yet?
Im driving away from the building aiming the camera back and shooting blind!!!
Good shootin’
Awesome picture especially given the way you took it. Awesome movie.
Nice photo!
Loved that movie, one of my favorite appearances of Rickman
I *love* Alan Rickman!
Since you brought him up, it’s one of my favs of his, too. But my favorite line is in this clip from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves…
“Locksley! We’re gonna cut your heart out..with a spoon!”
One more, for good measure

Wooo! Die Hard! gotta love the testerone ‘fest that is the original Die Hard
Sweet Pic.
Die Hard has to be one of the best action films of all time.
So many great moments in that film. Alan Rickman has to be one of the best villians as well. But hes also great in Galaxy Quest. Now that is a ture modem classic.
I also like the other Die Hard film but I feel the last one was a bit of a let down as they tonned down the villance and swearing, so it could open for a wider audiance.
But I feel that took away from the Charicter. Could you see Rambo tonned down for a PG audiance?
So when you were leaving, did you happen to say Yippe Kiyah Mother@#$&! Gonna have to check out that building when I come to LA next month.
Wow, looks great, especially after it got a “new paint job and a s—load of screen doors!” Great movie, funny line and nice photo (I’ve been meaning to drive by and snap some of my own “Nakatomi” pics some day).
Man! It has been too long since I’ve seen this movie! Talk about a shot of testosterone!
Any dude who can walk across broken glass gets a 2 thumbs up in my book.
