Last week Penny, her buddy Michael, and I got to do a new pin up shoot out at Thompson’s aviation yard and had a lot of fun shooting amoungst the wreckage and with a few wardrobe changes, too. Penny has a lot of fans here from our shoot at Century Circle, and there have been a lot of very nice compliments sent her way!!! Thanks for the kind words and, as lovely as her pictures were with blond hair, she captures the era again beautifully with her new brunette doo! Just finished working on the first of many of her prints and wanted to share the first one finished!!! Enjoy!

Penny!!! the blond bombshell

Penny the brunette bombshell
That’s an awesome picture, she’s a real beauty all right. Thanks for sharing.
I’m interested in seeing her as a brunette.
Nevermind about the brunette part. The brunette picture didn’t load until after I commented, for some reason.
gottcha!
Indeed, she captures the spirit of the classic pin-up hands-down. She’s a cutie-pie and sexy at the same time. (That has a bit to do with it too, as ya can’t not be cute ‘n’ sexy to be a classic-style pin-up gal, eh).
And now the “props.” Good ol’ 104 back there again, can’t ever go wrong there, eh. Ya know how I feel about that bird. Bottom in brunette, looks to be a classic Bell Huey, UH-1 Iroquois ’round about… if I’m not mistaken, eh.
Great stuff, Johnny-boy, and Penny!

If I had the time!!!! I have so many pics I need time to work on of hers and soon I hope to get em up!!! Penny is Miss Pin Up Extraordinare!!!
Woo…I dare say I really like the brunette look a lot, perhaps more than blonde! It really suites her well and helps bring out the beautiful features of her face! Love those eyes!
She is amazing in any style!!! Penny is awesome and love working with her!!!
Her face does come through nicely on the second one and her tone is nice with the brunette hair, but I think the lighting on the first one makes most of the difference in her features.
The lighting and look of the first one is great stuff! Good job, buddy!
more to come desert D!!!
So, John, let me get this straight; you get to design cool ships for Star Trek (and other movies and TV shows), you have a lovely wife and a beautiful, courageous daughter, AND you get to photograph pretty girls alongside some of the most amazing flying machines ever built.
I officially hate you. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.
Blonde or brunette, Ms. Penny is a total cutey either way. If she ever decides to be a redhead, though, she’d be seriously dangerous. Yowza!
If only the uniforms for women were realy like that in hte armed forces! Scratch that, if only the women were really like that in the armed forces!
I really have to say that she is one Foxy Lady. I really love her as a Brunette, I bet she would look great as a red head.
She has the most gorgeous smile, and she looks like she could dress as anything from a dressed-to-the-nines femme fatale to a mechanic in coveralls and still make it work awesomely.
Fantastic!
