Howdy all, Just finished on the very busy “Iron Man 3″, and I’m now packing up the truck for the big move to Wyoming followed by a week of travel!! I should be settled into my new life and ready to go right away.. All the Trek art work that has been in storage for over a year will be accessible again so I can scan and post like before!!! Also once the posts start rolling again, this is the 30th anniversary of the summer movies of 1982,, THE GREATEST SUMMER OF MOVIES ever!!! Stay tuned for tons of fun posts followed by some feed back by the men n women behind the 1982 blockbusters. OK thanks for hanging in there and can’t wait to get back on here more regularly..
Have a good one.
J
Sweet! Can’t wait…can’t wait! Nice Enterprise piece!
You were working on Iron Man 3? Sweet. I can’t wait to see it, I really like the first two.
Looking forward to the blog posts, I love that picture you posted today. That mining rig rules.
Ditto to all of the above
Staying tuned as always
Whoo! Can’t wait! =D Have a safe trip!
Looking forward to new posts. Y’all be safe on your move!
Great to hear John! Really looking forward to whatever you have for us.
Hope all is well,
Richard
since your are heading to wyoming, are you retiring from the film biz or telecommuting?
Look forward to seeing those post.
I am also looking foward to you showing us the movies you have been working on over the last year.
The mining rig, was one of the coolest ships on Enterprise.
Good to know you will be back, John. Look forward to more art, pinups and behind the scenes musings from the Atomic Studio.
Hey John, if you do anything on TRON, I’ve got plenty of images you can use
Martin
See you soon, and take care.
Missed ya, John!! Sad we couldn’t get together before you headed out! Hopefully you’ll swing back this way and we can do dinner!
John, nice kick off there. The mining rig was a cool part of those episodes, a truly brilliant last 2 parter for Enterprise.
I was just reading through or more like looking at the artwork from the “Art of Iron Man 2″ book and noticed your name on the designs for Tony’s transparent phone/pda, that was such a cool little prop.
Congratulations on your continued success working for Marvel, and I really look forward to seeing some more treasures from the Eaves archive.
Any chance of some pages from the Text of the Kostamojan and the Rules of Acquisition?!
Regards
Jamie
Still hoping to lay hands on my own copy of that book.
I bought the Art of Marvel Movies boxset that had the 2 Iron Man film books, as well as Thor and Captain America. It was so much cheaper than buying them all seperately, as the Iron Man books, especially the hardcovers are crazily priced on the secondary market.
Looking forward to it John!!
Awesome! I can’t wait to see what you have in store!
John, Let’s not forget the summer of ’89. Batman, Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters 2, Star Trek V, Back to The Future part 2… It was a crazy time to work in a movie theater. But we got to see them all for free.
John I just moved about last month but only two miles from my old home, I can’t imagine moving states. Good luck, I love you design style and look forward to your Trek 2013 designs.
