One of my all-time favourite movies, John. No post needed here, the poster says it all!
I would highly recommend Craig Thomas’ novel of the same name on which this movie is based as well as its’ sequel Firefox Down. Both novels are gripping, high intensity, fun-packed rides that are well worth your time.
Such a great film. I think this was one of the first Eastwood films I saw.
I have always love the design of the Firefox.
My father and loves this movie, and I always was taken in at the fight scenes at the end. Even today, this movie really adds the realism of flight physics, while other movies like Top Gun, well not so real.
And it’s ironic that the Russian’s new T-50 is almost identical to the Firefox. Maybe they will name it that in omage?
Very good movie! Clint Eastwood is great in almost everything he does; still not so sure about the Every Which Way but Loose films; nor Bronco Billy!
An exceptional movie. Thrilling, but also mostly realistic and somewhat controversial (as a typical creation of the cold war).
