Woah speedy thanks!
That a nice looking ship.
Looks like it could be some sort of scout, or a deep space tug. The gap in the rear look like a nice fit, for most of starfleet ships with a neck to fit into.
This was classified as an Engineering ship and the open back was designed just for what your thinking.
So…a tender, then.
Gotta tell you John the more I see this little design it makes me want to just build it … mind you real as in physical 3D not CG. Any renders of the underside and rear available? I’m trying to make sense of the rear and underside dimensions and impulse engines but lack the detail to fully grasp.
I’ll have to get home and find em,,, I’ll scan those views and send them to you… If I haven’t done this by by next Tuesday,,, remind me
Will do, thanks!
Heya John, friendly reminder for Federation tug(starfleet vessels) rear and underside drawings you may have. I have already started sculpting
Thanks for the orthos on this ship.
It’s a cool “Little Ship”, John I would like to do a Cutaway/MSD of the ship. It looks like she has 4 decks, is that right? Also I do not see a location of the Warpcore hatch, where is it located?
Joe, I count it as 5 decks including the bridge, you may be overlooking the escape pod deck as being a bonefide deck.
Yeah you are right Pacal!
The more I look at this design, the more I love it! It has some nice lines to it! Would have loved to have seen either version in a CG model! I think this would have been one of those models that would have looked good from whatever angle you filmed it at.
John is there any way to download the schematics? (right-click doesn’t seem to work for me). Alternatively would it be possible for you to email me a copy through?, I’d love to add them and the Archer to my collection if that’s okay with you. Many thanks if so, no problem if not!
This reminds me of some of the better ships from the old FASA Star Trek games. Thanks for posting!
