Happy Friday everyone and thanks again for all the great comments, camaraderie and great links to cool things. I had very little time to participate with all that was going on except for the daily postings. I have 5 daughters and sadly one of them has a bit of cancer and she started her chemo last week and it has been a long one getting her comfortable again. thanks for all the prayers, good thoughts and messages that we have been receiving for her. The Dr.’s say that it was caught very early and in about 4 to 6 months she’ll be as good as new. Thanks again and hope everyone has a great weekend. So with that here are some more great images of the beloved Enterprise model back from the 1960’s, Enjoy..

john-
longtime fan and admirer, prayers and blessings to your daughter and family at this time, i’m sure this has been a nightmare for you. keep up the good work and postings, i would love to see your stuff from the new star trek film. keep at it.
Thanks Jared for the prayers and as soon as the film comes out I’ll check with J.J.’s office to see what I can put up.
Carlene is in my prayers dude. I see her as nothing but well and happy. 🙂
Five daughters? Oh I feel for you come teenage and dating time.
PLL,
deg
He’s actually got 3 teens right now (Carlene is one of them), so you can pray for him on that score, too! They’re all beautiful!! Just think of the driving lessons!
Thanks DEG!!! That means a lot to me, On of them is married and gone but at home there are 3 16 year old’s and a 7 year old, and honestly I worry more about when the 7 year old hits the teens,,, She’s got a fairy tale romantic sence to her and I don’t think I am going to be worrying so much about guys after her as it will be the other way. HAAA! I might have angry fathers of sons coming after me with a scatter gun.
I’ll keep Carlene in my prayers too, John. I’m sure everything will be fine and dandy in no time. 🙂
Thanks Jonathan, We are confident with that too.
John, Sorry to hear about your little girl! I hope all goes well. I’m glad the cancer was caught early. The earlier, the better a chance of full remmission. My wife and I will be keeping the Eaves family in our thoughts and prayers. Post an update when you can.
Chin-up, my friend!
Thanks from my family to yours. And I’ll keep her updated on here as well. Thanks again and it really means a lot!
My personal prayers for your daughter.
Never tire of seeing these behind the scenes images especially when it’s good old 1701!
Thank you very much Thomas!!!
You know, I kind of liked the big dish on the pilot version. The taller bridge dome balanced it out and kept her from looking bug-eyed, and I have always thought the nacelle spikes just looked plain cool. In fact, I was always slightly surprised that more bad guy starships didn’t have scary, aggressive spikes poking out of their nacelles. Well, at least Star Trek Nemesis delivered on that count. 🙂
Thanks and the Nemesis stuff is coming soon!
John,
We are praying for your family and daughter. My ex wife is a cancer survivor and she’s doing well.
Justin
Thanks Justin and I am sure Carlene will be also,,, I think that she is going to turn this journey into something that will help others find encouragement. She has started her own blog and she has a pretty good following!!!
My best wishes for your daughter and your complete family. I’m a firm believer it helps to think positiv and say “Yes, I will recover” – so tell her to keep fighting (I’m sure you do) and to think positiv!
My best wishes
Thorsten
Thank you very much for taking the time to send such a very nice comment!!! I am sure she’ll pull thru just fine.. thanks again Thorsten.
My heartiest good wishes for your daughter Carlene. I hope she beats it. On another note, thanks for sharing these pix of the original Enterprise.
Thank you for both of your fine comments!!!
Hang in there John! Lots of love to you and your family. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
You are my hero, Thanks Doug and that one went right to the heart!!! Thank you my friend!
John,
Thanks for sharing your work and the situation about your daughter having cancer. I will continue to pray for her healing. Please keep us posted.
Sincerely,
Don
Thank you Don B!!!! and I will!
John,
Just wanted to add my heartfelt wishes to a speedy recovery for your daughter. As a father myself, that desire to have our children be safe makes situations like these frustrating and scary because they are out of our control.
My prayers are with you, your family, and the medical personnel helping at this time that all will turn out well in the end!
Boy you said it,,, hurts way more when something threatens your little ones!!! Thank you again for the prayers Matt.
Too bad you don’t live in or near Pittsburgh, John; Children’s Hospital has the best pediatric cancer treatment program in the nation, & my friend Fidget works there as an X-ray tech who is adored by all..7 she was once a patient in her teens.
Thanks and we actually have her in the Los Angeles Children’s hospital. They are the West coast version of yours… They are really taking good care of her. and I am sure if we were back East that is where we would be.
Thanks again.
Will pray for you and family.
Thank you very much!
Hope everything will be alright, John.
Thank you Paul!!!
These pictures inspired me… so I decided to do this in 3d…
