get ready for a big treat!!!

I Finally found Steve Burg’s page!!!  Next to Ryan church, and Ron Cobb, My next favorite artist is Steve Burg. Steve is a quiet genus that lives to create beautiful masterpieces such as you see here!  Steve , Daren and Myself all started working in Hollywood in the mid 80’s, It was such a different time and it is so awesome to see how both Steve and Daren have so excelled in their careers, Such a massive amount and talent comes from these two minds and I am always awe-struck when I get to see their work. If you have time be sure to browse both of there sites and get ready to be blown away!!!  http://www.steveburg.blogspot.com

WOWSER!! I could stare at Steve’s beautiful images all day and not see all the details. I’m going to have to take the time one of these days to visit both of their pages. Thanks for sharing the art and the links. 😀

I wish I had more time… a few months ago I thought blogs were just for people talking about what they’d eaten for lunch, but now there are so many great Trek and design related blogs popping up and I can’t read them all. 😦

    One of these days, indeed!

Steve is a brilliant designer and artist… we’ve lost Steve from the movie business for a few years now as he went over to games… but I hope one day to work with him again on a project… he’s awesome.

The more and more I discover all these blogs the more it really makes me want to get into the industry, would be nice to make a living on something I happily do for free as a hobby! 🙂

I check Daren’s blog out on a daily basis and love the designs (you should check out the Hall of Justice 3D model he did – great stuff!) Love the SOTL insights!

Can’t wait to check out Steve’s work! It looks fantastic!

Really like the last pic of Steve’s ship, definitely need more time to see all of the details and peruse his site.

Harry, thanks for pointing those out, both are very cool! The second one has amazing reality to the depth and induced some vertigo for me, too. 🙂

If you want to see some more of Steve’s ship designs check out a couple of his lesser known film projects: “Arena” and “Night of the Creeps.”
