I just got a note from Martin who so kindly gave credit to all of the team members from the model shop. Even though this is a tribute page it is always good to mention everyone. I so agree,,,Thanks Martin, and here is a copy of his kind email. Also over in my blog role section is the link to Martins webpage.
Whatta guy. 🙂
Indeed, what a guy. 🙂
True team player! Need more people out there like that.
I noticed on his website he made a 5′ model of the Enterprise-E and complimented the design. Cool. 🙂
I love the War Rocket Ajax model he built that’s on his site !! I bough Martin’s VHS tapes some years ago in which he goes through the process of building some of his miniatures, I wish he’d do some new ones on DVD !
Martin is truly one of a kind. I’ve been e-mailing him on and off for a few years now and he’s been nothing but a true gentleman and incredibly open to share his work.

Oh by the way, you should all check out Andrew Glazebrook’s blog also. He’s a very talented artist in his own right. The URL is:

BTW, I agree that I would love to see Martin’s videos. I’d be very happy if he rereleased the ones he did in the mid-1990’s. I never was able to get those but have religiously cut any article he’s penned for future reference!
Cheers for that plug Pierre, your cheque is in the post ! 🙂 If I had the cash I’d love to get Martin to build a 6ft model of the HMS Camden Lock, the ship I co designed and then built for the BBC show Hyperdrive !! I’m sure it would set me back quite a bit, but it would be worth it !!
would have loved to been there are seen those models….
