Boy! The F-86 is such a beautiful plane; the design is simple but elegant. Is that one near your home?.

The F-86 was the first models I built as a kid and I remember giving it an all silver finish. One of my earliest memories of the Sabre was from seeing them in the original Godzilla movie.

You seem like you’ve been really busy the last couple of weeks. What have you got in store for us this week?

Oh wow, never saw one that wasn’t silver. I dig that clean paint-scheme, eh.

Te 86 is such a cool jet-fighter. I gotta build it at some point.

    Thanks, John!

        Heya, bud!

Oh yeah, I already invoiced ’em for my half, got paid and money’s in the bank just today as a matter of fact, eh! Thanks!

This way, taxes are all squared away between us individually, much easier that way, eh.

So send Lee an invoice just for your half, and we’re clear and each paid, eh. 😉

Sean and I are going to be re-doing the opening also, put that is a seperate quote and fee. If I can just get Jen, Lee, and Sammy to get me some definitive feedback and directions on a bunch of points I emailed out.

Can’t wait to work with you again, bud, that’s was a real blast doin’ it together! I am forever-and-a-day grateful to you! 🙂

I always annoy people I’m with because I want to look at every inch of every plane and find out all about it. I don’t know as much as most of the folks here do! I could spend days in your area just checking all of the sites and aircraft out!!

Thanks for the extra pics today. 🙂

Edwards AFB is kinda a holy grail for all kinds of things that fly 🙂
Was awesome to visit it, hope to do it again in the future.

Between these awesome pictures and watching Steve Canyon, I’m really getting an itch to learn how to fly. 🙂

She’s a beauty, no doubt! One day I’ll make it back out to California and check out Edwards AFB! Lots of history there!

Oh I always loved the bare metal F-86 with the big yellow stripe around it. “elegant” is the right word here.

The f-86 is jsut flat out gorgeous. I think the bare metal versions with the yellow stripes from the Korean war are viusally stunning.

And remember these planes were before guided missiles. Imagine trying to shoot down another dot in the sky with guns at 500 mph.

Somone feel feel to correct me if I am wrong, but doesn’t the Sabre liner bizjet use the smae wing, landing gear and speed brake as the f-86?

Doesn’t Michael Dorn own a few planes, or at the very least an F-86?
