It’s pin up Wednesday,,, Here is a group of pictures from two of my favorite models, Anela Amearetto, and Eileen Atkinson.. These were two of my favorite shoots too and we have so many outstanding pictures to share from both of these awesome locations and lovely young lady’s

Anela and I are going to meet up next month for a retro swimsuit shoot, a Star Trek shoot and hopefully another military style one over at the USS Hornet. looking wat=y forward to getting bak up to the bay to work with anela and Nelson again!!! Eileen has got a couple of new themes were going to give a go. We have a custom recreation of Julie Adams swimsuit from “Creature from the Black Lagoon” being made and were going to shoot a homage to the film pin up style over at the Lagoon at the  Universal backlot. Next we have a Star Trek theme and Eileen is being the face model for a Mermaid sketch I am drawing for the new Pirates movie. Lots of cool new things in the work and we have new original series Trek dress’s in blue & gold to go along with the very sleek red dress. You all have come to know both of these gals and their styles so feel free to cast a vote on what color dress you think best fits their persnality and look.

OK then on the go for another busy day so have a great Wednesday.

Classic as always. Not sure what else to say, but your photography, the models and locations that you do are always great to look at. if you ever get tired of drawing (and I hope you dont) you could have second career as a photographer.

I look forward to the new shoots coming up, and keep up the great work.

Sassy! as Phil hartman used to say. 🙂

These gals would look good in any color, so I have no preference. Try ’em all!

These coming shoots sound like a fan-boy dream, eh! The Creature was always my fave Universal monster (tied with The Wolfman). BTW, they are doing a thing at WonderFest this year on Aurora’s Original House of Monsters! models, eh. Way-cool! I built all those, including The Creature of course! I think it’s a safe-bet that you did, too! 😉

So, Johnny, are you over at Universal then?

If so, you see Doug at all?

Some nice pictures there, love the last one, it looks like the plane is in flight. You know, you should get some fans (like cooling fans, not Trekkies) on a shoot to get the models hair blowing in the breeze, could make for some amusing shots when you take pictures of them on a planes wing 😉

That top picture, isn’t that the location of Starfleet headquarters too? Pretty sure its on that side of the Golden gate bridge with Starfleet academy been on the other side of that hill in the background (200-300 years from now ofc!) 🙂

‘looking wat=y forward’ Ah, the old typo followed by hitting = instead of backspace. My personal 2nd favourite ‘need it yesterday’ speed typing error after hitting caps instead of shift thus making it look like I’M SHOUTING WHEN i’M NOT!

Beautiful! Can’t wait to see more of shoots that you plan to do with them! I can see Anela in Command Gold and Eileen in the Sciences blue for some reason, but something tells me they’ll look good in no matter what colors they’re wearing! 🙂

Swimsuit & Trek. What more can we ask for. I look forward to seeing these.
as for a colour dress, it really does not matter, as these ladies will look good in any thing. 😉

Love the pic you got here.

@ Suricata, that a great idea about the fan.

Colour me perverted, but I’ve always had something going for a lady in red.

Awesome pics as usual. Anela looks great in that retro army look, you got her in some great poses and that setting sun (or is it rising?) you have in a lot of the images just makes it better. I also like the pic of Eileen, it has a fun, playful feel to it. 🙂

As for the dress colors, I’m not sure. I too like a lady in red, especially a brunette. I think Eileen would definitely look great in red. (though the blue would bring out her blue eyes more) Anela would probably work in all 3 colors.

John, just wondering what type of lighting were you using for these shots? or do you shoot using natural light ?

    Just wondering,
