A day with lola de lish, a pin up update

It’s Lola!!!! Here are some way over due pictures of the Lovely Lola De Lish from our photo shoot at Tucson’s Pima Air Museum. It was a spectacular day in every way! The sky was full of clouds, The museum looked awesome and all the work that the staff and crew had done with restoring and setting up the aircraft was incredible . And the best part was working with Just Jen and Lola De Lish. Lola came to shoot around noon and we took several hundred pictures and did two wardrobe changes. If ever there was a pin up pro it’s Lola, she captures the very essence of vintage pin up and adds her own spice and style to every shot! It was an awesome pleasure to work with Miss de Lish and all the great folks out at Pima. enjoy the pics and stay tuned for more Trek posts coming tomorrow!

THANKS!!!!! I love taking this kind of pictures!!! and so glad that so many folks like em too! that long gone era of gals and planes is hard to find these days and it’s a treat to have the opportunity to bring back a little bit of that nostalgia!

Thanks Matt, I love the brown outfit she made up for the shoot and the white shorts with the sailer shirt was also Lola.s idea!!! She’s great and putting the little details together before the pictures start.

Man, I love that first one. There’s just something about her, the pose, the look, the camera angle, it’s all just perfect. The others are fantastic also but that’s my favorite. As always, thanks for sharing. ๐Ÿ˜€

Captures the 1940’s feel perfectly in every shot. I’m amazed that some of these ladies don’t have professional modelling contracts.

You aren’t kidding!!!! I can see how hard it is though! The pool of talent in the modeling world has moved to an ocean of talent and those that make it I think is more the right place at the right time because there are so many gals that I could see in the supermodel roles… Glad in a way there not because they are not because the ladies I have worked with all have lives and are well grounded with very strong stands on what they will and will not do!!! You have to give all that up to be a success and sadly when your short term is over your thrown out as scrap. Better to just enjoy fun shoots as a hobby and not take it to seriously!

I think you’ve set the ISO too high unless they’re deliberately grainy in which case, nevermind.

Still, very lovely pics! I especially like the cheesecake -ness of them!
