    John,

Hmmm a test perhaps about Midway? I’ve always enjoyed the carrier and as you noted she was of WWII vintage, laid down in 43, launched in March 45 and commissioned in Sep 45. While she didn’t participate in any actions as the war was over she technically served. I used to have a large study model of her from 45 but it’s long since gone as a prop rented out to and indie and never returned. I do have plenty of film of her and her sisters if you need any? Keep up the super work.

    Shawn
