Here is one more post for a gorgeous Friday. Miss Kay Jay is the very lovely and talented lady from Arizona who a few months back had a small feature post in the beloved red dress series ( https://johneaves.wordpress.com/2011/03/17/happy-2nd-anniversary-to-the-blog/ ). Today here she is again giving her take on an aviation pin up theme. She is every inch an amazing model, and her style is sleek, elegant, and very sassy. She is a favorite to work with and look forward to more shoots in the future, so until then enjoys some new pics from one of the queens of Arizona modeling. Miss Kay Jay.

Great timing for this…I have plans to visit the CAF this weekend. 🙂
Really your going to falcon field??????, I want to go too
Come on over! 😀 Gonna visit the big Ladies before they take off for the summer tour. Sentimental Journey and Maid in the Shade will be all over the West this summer.
Btw, did you get my text yesterday?
I did thanks, and so glad to KNOW that the big birds will be gone before I plan a shoot and find them gone
Great to See Kay Jay again.
I love all these pic, but the B&W on the wing is my fav.
I love that last pic, her upper body has the classic look of the femme fetal from a 40’s film noir. I have to say, they is something about girls with big guns. 😉
Kay is awesome and there are so many great pics from that day!!!! she has such a flare for any theme and what she does is al of her own style and imagination
Those are awesome, especially the first one. It has a nice playful feel to it. 🙂
That one is one of my favs too!!!
You know, there’s just something about a girl and a gun…ha! These are great pictures, John! Miss Kay Jay would have driven the boys crazy! She looks spectacular in that uniform!
Yeah I agree!!!!!! she put together that outfit and it was a perfect combo!!!
really cool. I love the photo of Kay manning (manning?) the .50 cal. In heels.
That gun was so huge!!!!! and she took a lot of great pics by it
I very much enjoy all of your pinups, but I had to comment on these in particular. I especially enjoyed the first two here, because they are very similar to some artwork I did a few years ago. Not my best work, really, but if you’d like to see them, they are here:

They are similar and thanks for sharing them!!! love that you are using an old Corsair as your plane too!
Love your pinups too, but I must be getting old cuz I also want to see more shots of the planes.
Speaking of planes, I was on the NASA Dryden webpage and saw the list of retired aircraft. That led me to do a websearch on the F-16XL which NASA retired 2 years ago. To my shock I found that they are keeping one of the two for display but scraping the other (or may have already destroyed it, the source wasn’t clear). These two aircraft are as rare as it gets so why the other bird isn’t going to a museum is beyond me.
