Howdy and here is a sneak peak from next years ships of the line calendar, just sent off the full image to Doug (Monkey Man) Drexler a few days ago and thought I’d share a little bit of the big picture.
Thanks.. I was in a hurry to meet the deadline so I snagged a voyager shuttle and went to town with paint and modifications… I had a bunch of new ones to put in but couldn’t do it and make the due date.
Great image. I’ve been wondering though, how does one get an image into the calendar? If I had an idea for an image could I ask someone involved with the calendar or would they ask me?
Exellent work as always. I might actually buy next years calendar. I missed out on the last two.
I missed last years also and need to try and get one!!!! good ol EBAY!
A very nice rendering! Can’t wait for the new calendar!
Thanks,, I had always wanted to open up these doors and I love that the calendar projects make way for this kinds of things.
John must be between projects! Awesome to see posting again.
Lovely shot of the hangar. Can hardly wait to see the rest of it.
I’ve got a thing for hangars. Last month’s TMP hangar deck from Mr. Probert was heavenly.
HAAA! how did you know!!!! yeah I just finished a show and have some time to myself,,,, Yeah that means I can post again.
I hope you will have some time to upload the Tahoe Class schematics 😉 and for many other more interesting things ^^
SWEET!!!
Howdy Chris, Thanks
Amazing as always! 🙂
Thanks Jade and love your icon picture
Thanks! It took me awhile to figure out how to get the icon thing to work, haha~
Wonderful to get to see this part of the Enterprise. On it’s own this is great, but can’t wait to see what’s going on in the rest of the image too!
Thanks.. I have been dying for a chance to open these doors!!!
Cool as the other side of the pillow there, John! When you back in LA? We need to get together and give deg some Monkey punches!
HI MATT!!!! indeed many punches and slaps are needing to be sent Deg’s way!!! I’ll be back when the next job comes along, hopefully soon!
Oooooooooooohh! Don’t tease us like that!
Hi Barry,, you can’t really see it but I put a pin up nose art on one of the shuttles for you!
I can just about see the ladies on the two shuttles. Great marketing, John; now I’ll have to buy the calendar! 🙂
Very pretty!! Glad to see you have some time for you!!! That really is a lovely shot – great angle!
HI D!!!!! me too but my free time is already almost over,,,, how are you and whats new!!!! how was Die Hard??? I still haven’t seen it
Nice! I love the fact that you’re mixing it up with the shuttle paint jobs, just like you did with your other shuttlebay pic.
Thanks.. I was in a hurry to meet the deadline so I snagged a voyager shuttle and went to town with paint and modifications… I had a bunch of new ones to put in but couldn’t do it and make the due date.
Awesome work. I always look foreward to the SOTL calendars, the artwork is breath taking. Great work, John. 🙂 🙂
Great image. I’ve been wondering though, how does one get an image into the calendar? If I had an idea for an image could I ask someone involved with the calendar or would they ask me?
Lined up and ready to go!
Like that display above the shuttlebay, guess thats the 24th Century verison of “The Ball”.
Always cool to see parts of the Big that was not shown on screen.
I love this and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy… Shuttle decks are also such a great way to show scale… Well- sometimes. Anyway- great job!
