WOW I forgot about this ship till I saw the cg ship on Drex’s page last week… here is the pencil and the colored piece to accompany Doug’s post! speaking of inspiration the mighty F-117 was the cornerstone for where this idea came from,, All have been retired and scraped which I find so hard to believe only a few remain in air-parks so in a way this one pays an even deeper homage to an incredible fighter!

Well it was a fun memorial day and we still have no internet at the house,,, that should be remedied today, hopefully!!!!! sure enjoyed all the millions of comments and all the new features that Matt has set up on the ol blog page!!! THANKS MATT!!!!. It is already a buzy morn so I hope to get a comment or two back at the ones left over the weekend and will hopefully get some more fun posts up today,,, This week will be,,, if there is time, Martin Bower week and a special Kitbash girl extravaganza.

It is always fun to dig thru the old aircraft images from Edwards AFB archives. This shot is Navy so it came from somewhere else but there are so man incredible aircraft that have such a strong influence on the look of many of the space craft designed for the various Star trek films and shows. For the Jem Hedar/Dominion battle cruiser, the A-4 played a major role in the overall look of the ship. This was one of the first war ships that I got to work on during the 4 years on at DS9, For DS my primary job was props and work would spill over into some fun vessel projects every once in a while. Here is the 3/4 and found some orthos that I forgot that I had drawn, HAAA! that old man memory loss is sinking in!!!!
