WOW it is a new Star Trek all around, Great to finally have a big beautiful kit/display model come out along with the release of the film,,, For the model collector who likes models of the Enterprise it usually is a long wait to get anything and even then end results are not that great…. the best models always come from the garage kit world and That must be where the boys at Quantum have their roots. Their site listed above really displays some awesome replicas and beautiful collectable pieces. I for one am very glad they got the Star Trek license because they now how to do a model right. I saw this piece on display and took about 80 pictures of it,, It was in a case during the day and the reflections were maddening but with a little photoshop they’ll be able to post. Ok be sure to visit the QMX page and see all the other goods they put out,,, If only I was rich!!!!!!

Nice, but I´d rather have the original version from his homepage. 😀

Though I am not a fan of this version of the ship, I have to say the model does look impressive.

I like this model. It makes me want to build one but I have to wait for the kit to come out because I don’t know the first thing about fabricating parts. In the meantime, I might pick up the little light-up and sound effect toy one when I have the money to spare.

I read about this on one of the many sites out there (Trekmovie, maybe?) and all it’s done is make me wish I wasn’t so easily distracted. Working freelance is not a god plan for me, especially when see shiny things.

Anyway – yes. I want this ship, but I may have to settle for the Playmates for now. I know there was the uberfan backlash, but it ranks as one of my favorites along with the E-E.

Suricata, you can give it to me! And my birthday’s next month!! But for me, not you. 🙂

This is way cool…I’ve been a fan of this curvy beauty all along, but my sentimental streak got in the way a little.
